---- Most of us assume we should. I did. I promised myself I would not stop trying to get us to cooperate in trying to prevent our fate. But that is my promise, not yours. Buddha", I agree with Buddha. The E-Ts have given us the minimal warning. They certainly seem to think we are not worth saving in our present state of savagery. Our leaders, especially in my country(USA), think that lying, cheating, stealing, and murdering are justified to use as long as our leaders gain, no matter who else gets hurt. A modus operandi shared by by seemingly most other countries leaders here on Earth. Realistically, helping us would mean the E-Ts would have to give us FTL travel to their home planets, and we have H-Bombs. What a grisly thought. The same moral conundrum faces us, would we attack an E-T civilization without them attacking us first? Hmmm!!! That is exactly what the USA does and is doing right now, isn't it? As a people, we seemingly do not seek the truth, we lie to others and ourselves a LOT. Can we stop ourselves? Do we love life, our neighbors enough to stop lying in public, at least long enough to save our planet? I now consider my word to myself to be almost kept, I have figured out the path to FTL communication and travel. We have a shot at prevention, so the answer to the question, "Should We?" is up to the rest of you. After I finish polishing up this Front Page explaining why the N1CL gives us the means to cooperate worldwide in trying to prevent our fate, I will consider my promise to myself to be fulfilled.
