---- On the front page of this website you say "For the first time Earth has a central place on the internet where anyone's warning about a 'hole in the dike'....." I think that the words "hole in the dike" should be changed to other words. Although these words convey the meaning of the sentence well, it makes the reader beleive that there is some far off thing that they are supposed to know about, that they don't. A replacement that could be used to 'hole in the dike' could be danger. ---- The analogy for "hole in the dike' is an immediate public danger. I agree, it conveys the meaning well. Maybe you mean that most people are not aware of that our societies have "dikes". I think you may be right about that. Lets think on changing it.
