Given that people write editorials and they are of general interest, we should allow them to post a link to their opinion piece, BUT what about incorrect facts/logic within the opinion piece? Solution: 1. Allow comments with up/down ratings. 2. Attach titles of posted purported corrected facts at top of piece with # of people who concur, and a link to complete correction.. 3. Notify Author of corrections, and give him 36 hour time to respond when they want to. 4. No response by author after 36 hours means Silence Gives Consent. 5. All correctors must agree to use Q&A Procedures from anyone on their correction. That prevents frivolous corrections.
