Disconnection Log for Earth
Disconnection Leader must have a Captain's powers = the last word. Using the last word ia a last resort. First part of job is politically getting agreement on What Must Be Done. The Captain posts their log entries here so all can see what is being done, so all can give feedback. A log is a record, so
plus/minus polls on an action are good, and highest rated comments can be logged. Questions answered must be at Captain's discretion, as sometimes he will not have time for an explanation, and sometimes it could warn those who want Earth to die. Disconnection Captaining is a four year job, making using his time left wisely mandatory. Afterwards who in their right mind would want such a job.
I purposely said he, because men are genetically programmed to do or die in a fight, and thus act without mercy when necessary. Right or wrong we must act, and one of us must have the last word because we will face, real do or die choices that must be decided immediately.
